Da Vinci Magazine Ad is part of a a whole identity system for a high end
kitchen company.
This project is to create and design a book cover and Jacket for a
mystery novel, a good opportunity to be creative and push the boundaries of design. Since
the book addresses a murder, the color red was used in the binding and lower frame in the
front and back to trigger the emotion of danger and suspense.
To attract the reader, the front cover consists of an image of a hand shadow reaching from
the background to either seek help or clear the way for the truth.

Using the style guide ensures that the brand looks and feels the same, even when you have
different people working on customer service, marketing, design and sales.
Creating a paper promo for a paper company. The promo should include
multiple uses of different types of paper in a creative manner as well as identify its
characteristics that would raise the market interest.
The created calendar was inspired by word search games. Within each page,
which represents a month of the year, a word search puzzle is included. The answer to the
puzzle is the date of the most significant event of the month spelled out with letters. To
imitate the mind set for a word search, a newsprint paper was utilized for each month. As
for the cover, a linen paper was selected because of its unique texture. The calendar cover
and the printed pages were bound together using a red scotch tape.
